As a label, one of our primary goals is to infuse music with charitable works. This compilation is a collection of our friends who so kindly contributed their work to make this compilation a collection of truly beautiful art.
Rather than over-speak, we would like to allow Marc Jaccard, Executive Director of the Evans Home for Children to explain the work your donations will be doing.
"We are a home for children who have been displaced: Some by being removed by Social Services because of abuse and then placed in foster or even adoptive situations that did not work (often as many as 10 to 15 times before coming here); others by becoming homeless with their families and having their parents finally place them with us to remove them from unsafe and frightening environments.
Our children come to us between the ages of 5 and 17, attend public school, and receive all of the love and support we know how to give. We teach them to play hard, study hard and as they grow, how to work hard – and that includes volunteering in the community. But our care doesn’t end at 18. When our children leave, they know they can always come home if they need us. We even have an alumni home right next door where you can always find a few former residents living, working in the community, going to community college, and paying rent. When they move out, we give them all of their rent back!
I can’t thank everyone involved in the Bandcamp program enough. It is this kind of circle of love that lets us keep going. Whether your gift is your talent or your treasure, please know you are changing the life of a child in need forever."
